Situated on nearly 2 acres of private beachfront property, Sunrise Villa is located in the town of Cabrera on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. Sunrise Villa represents the best in luxury villa rentals, reminiscent of a modern Balinese village. Sunrise was designed and built between 2001-2002 and became the ideal spot for a Caribbean vacation getaway by July 1st, 2002. The basic idea was simple.

Create a private villa that's miles away from the typical touristy locales that populate the Caribbean. The Caribbean villa has the service and amenities found in a 5 star hotel. It has an atmosphere that is very laid back and relaxing, creating the ideal Dominican Republic vacation. Sound too good to be true? The grounds that surround the 4 Balinese style buildings at this Caribbean vacation getaway are lush to say the least. There are several hideaway spots that beckon you to read or just hang out for some quiet time. The villa has a main house with one bedroom and four habitations containing 7 bedrooms with air conditioning.

With several indoor/outdoor living spaces, the main house offers the perfect accommodations for any vacation. The great room itself is nearly 2,000 sq ft, and is complemented by a dining room which seats 14, a billiards room, and 2 large verandas; one that overlooks the pool and hot tub, while the other boasts a full-service bar. In addition, the main house has a large master suite upstairs, a kitchen, a laundry, and comfortable areas for the staff. The pool at our Dominican Republic villa offers a zero-entry beach plus a large, heated, party hot tub. It's here you'll find our outdoor dining pavilion as well as our giant chess board.

There are plenty of chairs and loungers for relaxing in the sun or enjoying a drink at night. Just ask one of the staff, and they'll make you anything you want and bring it right to your chair. The villa property sits on a cliff which borders the beach. The cliff is only 20 feet high and looks directly down onto one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. A few steps down from the cliff is the beach you've heard so much about. It's here you'll probably spend most of your time while at Sunrise Villa.

Go for a snorkel. Have a picnic. Enjoy Caribbean deep sea fishing or some excellent Dominican Republic golf. Play a mellow game of volleyball, or just lay back and soak up the sun. If you want the staff to bring you another drink, may we suggest the Presidente? It's an island specialty. Once you have one of these, you'll never drink Bud again. We promise.

GETTING THERE A private shuttle from Puerto Plata airport to the villa is available and recommended. Cost if $80 per person and includes transportation, tourist card and refreshments on board. VILLA POLICIES - The villa can accommodate a maximum of 27 guests. - Children are welcome and receive discounts on the mandatory meal plan.

SERVICES AVAILABLE - A masseuse is available for an additional fee. - The meal plan at Sunrise is mandatory and costs approx $55 per day per person, with discounts for children (Kids 4 -11 are $25; Kids under 4 are FREE). This includes all in-villa meals, a full breakfast, and all non-alcoholic beverages. Our Villa chef is always ready to prepare fresh seafood, roast pig, lobster or garden vegetables and fruits. You will be provided with a sample menu at the start of your Dominican Republic vacation. If you like, you can add one of your favorite meals to the menu.

Just call us and ask before you come down. After all, a Caribbean vacation should satisfy your palate as much as it soothes your soul and clears your mind. Our meal service also includes delicious appetizers served during Happy House each day. To make you feel even more at home, we also include a snack center filled with fruit, cookies and other goodies ~ perfect for between meals or late night munchies. As part of our meal service, we invite you to enjoy one night's dinner at the best restaurant in town, on us. Alcohol not included.
